But my girls did me proud, I laughed and cried and cried throughout the entire movie. Just loved it. I liked that there was joy and happiness as well as sadness and conflict of emotions. I also liked that they didn’t make the girls look all young, the one scene with SJP in Mex, she looks her age, good on them to be real. I loved the shoes and the dresses and the jewelry, loved loved loved it all. Tons of good messages in this movie (marriage!?!) I get that guys don’t get it, that’s fine, no reason to drag them to the movie. And I find it interesting that women can open a movie. Can’t wait to see it again. Without getting all obsessive fan-like, I have all the seasons on dvd and often watch them when I’m happy and sad. And as a friend (male) said to me today, you’ve spent almost ten years with these girls, of course you’re gonna find it emotional…
